The Chaplain, Mrs Jeanette Teale, is at the school Wednesday to Friday each week. She will be available to help any student, parent, or staff member who needs support through a difficult time in his / her life. Appointments can be made through the office.
The role of the chaplain is to....
  • - Provide pastoral care to students, staff and parents through one-to-one sessions, support groups and referral to other agencies.
  • - Be a positive role model and Christian presence within the school.
  • - Be available to be involved in school programs.

Participation in the chaplaincy service is voluntary, if you would like your child to be involved regularly then you will need to fill out a permission form which is available at the office and from the chaplain. Participation in any spiritual based programs also requires parental permission.

The chaplaincy service is funded by the school’s P&C committee, community support and funding from the National School Chaplaincy Programme.
