It is now Week 3 of the final term of primary school. After a fantastic week at Tallebudgera Beach School, we will continue with our final unit - Who is Australia?

This also forms the focus question for our unit where we look at the history of migration into Australia, its multicultural heritage and its government.

There are 3 major pieces of assessment due:

• Written Information Report (Illustrative) - Due Friday 6 November, Week 5

This is completed individually or in pairs presented as a poster/booklet to be available on display at student's Multicultural Stall

• Multicultural Stall - Monday 16 November, Week 7 in school hall

In groups, all Year 7 students will design and set up a stall focused around their chosen stall on this 'Multicultural Fair' Day. The session will begin at 9a.m and finish at 1:00p.m. All classes are invited to attend during set times. Parents are also welcome.

• Australian Government Website for New Migrants - Due Monday 23 November, Week 8

The task is to individually/pairs develop a website that assists immigrants adapt to Australian society, focusing on how it is governed and what laws are in place.
