Last week you will have received a form home regarding class placements for 2015.  Please note that this form also indicates your intention to have your child return in 2015.  As a result, I request that all families complete and return forms by the end of this week.

This form should only take a couple of minutes to complete and certainly assists with our deliberations when constructing classes.  It must be noted that the task of placing students in classes is very complex and requires consideration of staff needs and their professional requirements, the emotional, social and academic needs of students, the facilities we work within and various other factors including specialised health needs and the like.

Whilst it is very useful to have parent input into the process, our task is to make decisions that we believe are in the best interest of all learners.  As a result, I will not be considering requests for teachers and do not guarantee that your requests will be followed.  However, I do guarantee that your preferences will be given consideration on balance with all the other information we have available and decisions will be made that we believe are in the best interest of all learners.

If you have not returned your form at this point, please do so prior to the need of this week.  If you have misplaced your form please download the one attached. Forms received during next term may not be considered if the process has already commenced.
