What an exciting two days of sports action when our years 1–7 children participated in the annual cross country races. This is an event that includes nearly everyone and it was great to see so many children trying their hardest to make it to the finish. Children feel a sense of fulfilment in just completing this race.
The individual placegetters are mentioned below but our congratulations go to everyone who ran. Although it is a competitive event, we believe that it is important for children primarily to see sport and recreation as something you do to stay fit and healthy. Thanks to Bray Miller for another successful carnival.
