March is Harmony Day.
Our diversity makes
Australia a great place to live. Harmony Day is a celebration of our cultural
diversity – a day of cultural respect for everyone who calls Australia home.
On
Harmony Day students are encouraged to wear an orange t-shirt with their
blue school shorts/skirts/skorts.
This year our celebrations will be focusing on cultural
diversity within each classroom at Jindalee State School. As a
school community we will be celebrating this diversity by creating a whole
school display which will be able to be seen from the 16 through to the 23
March. We encourage everyone to come and see the wonderful Harmony Day display
created by the students and staff of Jindalee State School.
