Another term has commenced and I hope that you have all had the opportunity to enjoy some time with family and friends over the school holiday period. Last term you will recall I noted in many of the school newsletters, information in relation to Independent Public Schools and the opportunity that exists for Jindalee State School to consider this for 2015.
Some of you will have attended an information session last year in relation to Independent Public Schools and a proposal for Jindalee State School. Last year, it was decided not to submit an IPS application based on survey results. This year we have another opportunity to explore our readiness to submit an application to become an Independent Public School in 2015.
We will be holding community meetings at the following times to discuss this opportunity and provide time for families to have a say.
