At Jindalee State
School we like to recognise and reward students when they are following our
core values of being Cooperative, Courteous, Considerate, Conscientious and
Courageous. Below are some of the awards we give our students.

|
Student has
displayed personal endeavour, achievement and contribution to the class or
school community. This student has displayed a sense of fair play,
generosity of spirit, commitment to school community participation and a real
concern for the school or learning environment.

Golden Ticket
|
Given for playground behaviours ONLY
Students have demonstrated outstanding behaviour in the playground as
outlined in the ‘Jindalee Way’

Daily – Golden tickets placed in box at the office
5 Golden Tickets drawn out of the P-3 box and 5 tickets from the 4-6
box and presented at assembly
|
Jindalee Way Award
|
Students are to receive no more than 2 x RBLs and/or no more than 2 x
‘Time Away from class’ within the term e.g. 2 x RBLs and 1 x
‘Time Away from class’ will equal 3 so therefore student is ineligible for
the Jindalee Way Award
|
End of each term
|
Jindalee Way Badge
|
Students are to receive no more than 2 x RBLs and/or no more than 2 x
‘Time Away from Class’ for the year e.g. 2 x RBLs and 1 x ‘Time Away
from class’ will equal 3 so therefore student is ineligible to receive the
Jindalee Way Badge

End of the year

Principal Award
|
Intended for students who are applying themselves well. They may
not be achieving the highest results but the rating of their “Application”
and “Work Habits” and the associated comments are consistently high.
Principal Award can be awarded for any one (or more) of these 3
reasons:
Outstanding Academic results
Significant improvement
Outstanding effort

May be given
for the following reasons:
consistent high quality of work and effort in class
consistent contribution to classroom
discussions/activities
enthusiasm in all lessons
a respectful attitude towards their teacher, staff members
and their peers

Presented to one child from each class from Prep – Year 6
Presented at fortnightly assemblies besides whole school assemblies
|
