Welcome back to all our families and a special welcome to our many new families at Jindalee this term.
Traditionally, this is a very busy term and this year is no exception. With many excursions, a swimming carnival, Carols Night, Yr 6 graduation and break-up, Day for Daniel (Morcombe), Music Night, Prep Orientation, Grandparents’ Day and many more exciting events, the term will be over before we know it. Please be sure to read this newsletter every fortnight to keep up with the latest events.
Road Works on Burrendah Road
The road works on Burrendah Road, scheduled for the holidays just gone, have been postponed to the Christmas holidays.
Pupil Free Day
A reminder to all parents that this Monday, October 19 is a Pupil Free Day. The office will be open, however no students are to attend school on Monday.
Class Placements for 2016
Parents are invited to fill out a form (to be collected from the school office) if they wish for their child’s social, emotional and specific academic needs to be considered when classes are compiled for 2016. Parents will need to explain their child’s requirements on the form and hand it back to the office no later than Monday, October 26. Late forms will not be accepted. The school will make all final decisions when placing children in 2016 classes. Requests for specific teachers will not be accepted.
