Jindalee State School is playing host to thirteen
Taiwanese students from Huiwen Elementary School over the next two weeks. The
students are joining our school to experience learning in an Australian setting
and to develop their English language proficiency.
Jindalee has been a part of the international
students program for the last ten years in partnership with Education
Queensland International. The majority of our students in the tour groups are
from Asia. They usually homestay with Jindalee families and their visit allows
them to be connected with our school community.
Whilst these visiting students from Taiwan
benefit from the educational opportunities our school has to offer, our own
students and staff also benefit from the opportunities working with students
