Jindalee State School participates in the West Akuna Interschool Sport Competition for Years 5 and 6.

Jindalee has a strong commitment to Physical Education and Sport. Students participate in 3 major sporting carnivals throughout the year.

Students aged 10-12 years old have the opportunity to participate in school-based trials in a range of sports to determine their eligibility forthe QLD School Sport Representative Pathway.
The pathway consists of Northern Eagles District Trials, Met West Regional Trials, QLD State Trials and National Trials.
Students who have above average ability in a particular sport may be invited to attend the Northern Eagles District Trials and have the opportunity the progress through the pathway.

Swimming
Students in Years 1-3 participate in swimming lessons as a part of the HPE program. Students travel to the pool by bus where the program is delivered by fully qualified staff.
