Wunya to Jindalee State School.

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you and your family to our school community. Beginning at a new school is an important milestone, and at Jindalee State School we are committed to ensuring every child and family feels welcomed, supported and connected from the very beginning.

At the heart of our school is a strong focus on belonging, engagement and connection. We want every student to feel safe, valued and included as an important part of our school family. We know that children thrive when they feel a sense of belonging, and we work closely with families to create a positive and nurturing environment where every child can grow with confidence.

Jindalee State School is a place of strong community, spirit and tradition. There is something very special about the way our students, staff and families come together to support one another and celebrate each child’s learning and growth. We are proud of the warm and inclusive culture we have built, and we look forward to sharing that with your family.

Our much-loved school mascot, JESSE, is a cheerful part of school life and helps bring fun, connection and school pride to our students. JESSE also helps remind us of the expectations that guide us every day: Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be a Learner. These expectations are at the heart of our school and help our students build positive relationships, make good choices, and approach each day with kindness, confidence and curiosity.

At Jindalee State School, every child is encouraged to explore, discover, create and achieve in an environment where they are known, cared for and inspired to do their best. We value the partnerships we build with families and recognise that by working together, we can support each child to thrive.

We are delighted to welcome you to Jindalee State School and look forward to sharing many wonderful learning experiences with your family.

Yours in education,

Ms Vanessa Munker | Principal
