Today, the students, staff and community of Jindalee State School commemorated ANZAC Day. Our student leaders put in an amazing effort to educate our community of the importance of ANZAC Day and truly honoured the ANZACs.
Tomorrow, the Centenary Suburbs RSL Sub Branch will be holding an ANZAC Day service at the Mt Ommaney War Memorial Gardens (cnr Arrabri Ave and Dandenong Rd).
Our students, families and staff have been invited to join in with the veterans to march from the Mt Ommaney Shopping Centre to the War Memorial.
The march will commence at 8am, with participants requested to wear formal uniform and be assembled at the meeting point opposite the Library at Mt Ommaney in the loading dock by 7:30am. The service will conclude at approximately 9:30am.
