Next week we are heading into Week 5 and many of our BYOD students are familiarising themselves with their new digital learning tool, their laptop or iPad.  It is essential our students are familiar and comfortable with their BYO device for their daily learning and before experiencing the forthcoming NAPLAN tests.

To support our students to fully engage with the curriculum, we are asking parents/carers to make sure their child's BYO device is fully set up, following the detailed, step-by-step guide provided within our BYOD web pages (Years 2-3 and Years 4-6).  To be considered fully set up, you child's device must

  • able to access our EQNET WiFi,
  • be enrolled onto Intune (our mobile device management software),
  • have Company Portal installed and
  • have all software or apps installed (iPad apps are available in the Company Portal app).

We are also asking our parents / carers of students in Years 3 and 5 to make sure their child has the most up-to-date NAP app installed.  We have again provided detailed, step-by-step guides to support you (Year 3 / Year 5).

If you require support with any of the above, email eLearning@jindaleess.eq.edu.au.
